A new fan-made Pokémon project has reworked Pokémon FireRed around Eevee, replacing the game’s creatures with 326 Eeveelutions and adding original designs to the Game Boy Advance-era role-playing game.

Called Pokémon Oops! All Eevees, the project was created by the developer known as 999999999. The game keeps the foundation of Pokémon FireRed while changing its roster so that every monster is an Eevee-related design. The project also adds new evolution lines rather than limiting itself to the eight official Eeveelutions.

A larger Eevee roster

Examples highlighted for the fan game include Fanteon, a ghost-type Eevee, Aeraerieon, a flying-type creature, and Aercampeon, a fighting-type Eeveelution. The project also revisits existing Eeveelution types with additional designs, giving some of the new creatures their own evolutionary progressions.

  • 326 Eeveelutions are included in the base game.
  • New designs include ghost, flying and fighting-type variants.
  • Existing Eeveelutions receive expanded movesets.

The project arrives after a long gap in official Eevee additions. Game Freak last introduced a new Eevee evolution in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, released 13 years before the Polygon report. Pokémon’s games include 18 standard types, meaning the official series has used fewer than half of those types for Eeveelutions.

That gap has left room for fan projects to explore possibilities that have not appeared in the official games. Pokémon Oops! All Eevees takes that idea further by applying Eevee variations across the full FireRed experience instead of adding only one or two new forms.

A full FireRed roster replacement

A video showing the fan game’s available creatures runs for nearly 40 minutes when played at high speed, according to Polygon. The length reflects the scale of the project’s roster, which includes both reinterpretations of established Eeveelutions and original creations.

Pokémon Oops! All Eevees is a fan game based on Pokémon FireRed, rather than an official release from The Pokémon Company or Game Freak. Its focus is the modified creature roster, new evolution lines and expanded movesets built around the Eevee concept.
