G2 Esports has recreated its Berlin headquarters inside Minecraft, turning the build into a virtual gathering space for fans following the organization at the 2026 League of Legends World Championship.
G2 announced the project Friday through a media alert from its public relations agency. The server is designed to let fans meet inside a digital version of the team’s headquarters while watching G2’s Worlds matches together. The organization said the virtual venue will remain open around the clock after the tournament concludes, giving the build a longer-term role as a community hub rather than limiting it to individual match days.
A watch party built around a co-stream
The next scheduled event is G2’s Round 4 Swiss Stage match against Hanwha Life Esports on Friday, Oct. 30, at 11 p.m. UTC, or 7 p.m. ET. The match is a best-of-three series, and G2’s Minecraft watch party is planned to follow the series from beginning to end.
Instead of placing the tournament’s main broadcast on the in-game screen, G2 is using a co-stream hosted by Jankos. His livestream will appear on a large screen inside the recreated headquarters, allowing players gathered in the Minecraft space to watch his commentary together.
The project also gives fans ways to customize their appearance in the server. G2’s website provides downloadable Minecraft skins based on the organization’s professional jerseys and kits from previous seasons. Those skins are intended to let visitors represent different G2 rosters while attending the virtual events.
How to enter the server
G2’s headquarters build is distributed through a modpack, so visitors must install it before connecting. The organization lists these steps:
- Download the CurseForge desktop application.
- Install the G2 modpack through CurseForge.
- Use “Create Custom Profile” and then select “Import” to import the profile.
- Connect with the server address 199.115.72.109:25565.
Additional instructions are available through G2’s website for users who need help with the setup. The use of a modpack distinguishes the venue from a standard Minecraft server listing and adds an installation step before fans can enter the headquarters.
G2’s announcement also extends the project beyond the current Worlds schedule. The organization said the server will stay online 24/7 after the championship and that additional watch parties are planned for future events. The Berlin headquarters therefore functions both as a match-viewing venue and as a persistent Minecraft space for G2’s global fan community.
