PVP Esports has unveiled a new, more streamlined look with their new “2.0” logo, in line with kicking off Season 1 of their PVP Esports Community Championships.
We received a kit today showcasing the new rebrand, which includes a nice letter introducing their PVP Esports Community Championships for 2020 – which includes both Corporate and Collegiate leagues, as they’ve done in the past year.
Personally I feel the new logo is better and more streamlined. From a design perspective, the first one tried a bit too much with the cup and colors that made it look like a retro throwback. This new one is more modern and easier on the eyes, while keeping the PVP branding there.
On top of all this, I think the rebrand signifies one thing – Singtel is really seeing the value of investing into the local esports scene. With the community tournaments, as well as their newly announced casual weekly tournaments (find out more here).
It’s awesome to see one of Singapore’s biggest telcos keeping it up – Singtel first launched PVP Esports back in 2018. Despite even the Circuit Breaker measures, Singtel is keeping their league alive through 2020, which should leave us excited to what they have in store for the future.
