Seven Games Leaving Xbox Game Pass on September 30

Microsoft has announced that seven games will be removed from the Xbox Game Pass library on September 30. The games being removed include Outriders, Prodeus, Weird West, Moonscars, Last Call BBS, Despot’s Game, and Beacon Pines. However, players who want to continue playing these games can purchase them at a 20% discount from their normal price.

This latest wave of removals follows the earlier removal of nine games on September 15, bringing the total number of removals in September to 16. Despite this, Microsoft has also added new games to the Game Pass, such as the Pinocchio-like game Lies of P and the battle royale game Party Animals. Payday 3 is set to arrive on Game Pass on September 21, while Gotham Knights will be available on October 3.

While September was not expected to be a big month for Game Pass in terms of volume, as Microsoft released its highly anticipated game Starfield, the company has hinted at more announcements to come. Fans can expect Game Pass announcements at Microsoft’s Tokyo Game Show event on September 21.

In other news, Xbox Game Pass Core has recently launched with a lineup of 36 titles. Microsoft plans to add more games to the catalog 2-3 times per year, although no specific additions have been announced yet.
