The latest update on the official social media account for Project Voltage showcases the next five Hatsune Miku designs and their partner Pokemon. This week, fans were introduced to the Normal, Ice, Rock, Ground, and Flying-type designs, following last week’s reveal of the Psychic, Grass, Water, Fire, and Electric-type designs.
Each design is accompanied by artwork created by talented artists, giving us a glimpse into how Miku and her Pokemon partners might interact if they existed in the same universe. The character sheets provide additional details, including Miku’s hypothetical team of partner Pokemon for each specific type.
The newly introduced designs include Flying-type Altaria (art by kannnu), Ground-type Flygon (art by kannnu), Ice-type Lapras (art by Kantaro), Normal-type Chatot (art by Megumi Mizutani), and Rock-type Aurorus (art by Megumi Mizutani). The selection of partner Pokemon is carefully chosen to reflect Miku’s image and style.
With these latest additions, there are now only eight Project Voltage designs left to be revealed. Following the design reveals, 18 music videos will be released starting from September 29, 2023. Each music video will feature a different Vocaloid producer and incorporate sound samples and background music from the Pokemon series.
As we eagerly await the remaining designs and the upcoming music videos, make sure to stay tuned to the official Project Voltage website for regular updates.
