The Philippines’ biggest fighting game event of the year happens on September 8-10, 2017. Manila Cup 2017 takes place at the Power Mac Center Spotlight in Circuit Makati. Set at the same venue as the recently concluded Rev Major PH, this year’s iteration features 9 games:

  • Blazblue Central Fiction
  • King of Fighters 14
  • Guilty Gear Revelator 2
  • Mortal Kombat
  • Injustice 2
  • Smash 4
  • Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3
  • Tekken 7
  • Street Fighter V

Though the local fighting game scene has been alive for a long time, it has only recently come into the spotlight. Events such as Rage Art, and Rev Major PH, brought much needed attention to the local scene.
