EVOS eSports, a top competitive DOTA 2 organization founded in Indonesia, today announced the acquisition of eSports organization, Fortius Gaming. Following the acquisition, EVOS eSports now has a presence in competitive League of Legends.

This team acquisition, worth a 6-figure sum in cash and stock options, is the first of its kind in Southeast Asia, with EVOS eSports looking to lead the region forward in the competitive gaming scene.

Now playing under the flag of EVOS eSports, the League of Legends team will move from Indonesia to Vietnam. A new team will be built around former Fortius Gaming star player, Thanh “Beyond” Truong, a prominent name in the Vietnam and Indonesia League of Legends scene. Looking to climb the ladder starting from VCSB, changes to the roster will be announced soon.

The expansion to League of Legends is another milestone for EVOS eSports, following the recent acquisition of Team Abyssus, a Hearthstone team based in Singapore. EVOS eSports plans to add more divisions into its hands and eyeing another expansion into FPS games in near future.

Moving forward, EVO eSports is preparing to make an announcement regarding its successful seed funding campaign, and plans to expand its regional presence in the eSports industry.
