In a bid to encourage more individuals to step up and build a community in Singapore, Community Organization: Battle Royale Singapore (BRSG) is introducing an innovative points system to reward community members for stepping up and getting more involved.

In their latest post, BRSG’s point system is as follows:

  • 50 points: Attending the community event
  • 200-800 points: participating in community tournaments
  • 200 points: volunteering and helping out in community events
  • 50-300 points: community mini games
  • 100 points: attending community workshop

During the Apex Legends Community event at Colosseum on 21 July 2019, Founder Donald “Ludification” Yeo shed some light on what the points system was about.

We want to reward our community, especially those who have been loyally supporting us all this while by giving back to the community. I think this is one of the best ways to do that.

BRSG Points utilize Discord’s points system; the server admin will credit points to the community’s respective Discord accounts in the BRSG Discord Server.

This means that BRSG points will be tagged to a member’s respective Discord account and can then use these points to redeem prizes from the rewards redemption channel.

Unfortunately, the rewards redemption section channel is still under construction. Donald and friends are still ironing out the kinks before it is open to public. However, several brands have been confirmed to appear in the Rewards list. These brands include ZOWIE and Omnidesk.

We would also like to thank JEDI Gaming for sponsoring a lot of our expenses. Without them, we wouldn’t even be able to run a proper event.

BRSG will be organizing events for Dota Underlords, PUBG Mobile, Clash Royale and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang at the Campus Game Fest 2019 on 3rd and 4th August 2019.
